Sidharth Shukla dies at 40
Sidharth Shukla dies, a well-known Indian television actor who won the reality show Bigg Boss 13 in 2013, died on Thursday.
Shukla died of heart arrest in a Mumbai hospital, according to Indian media. He was 40 years old at the time.
The actor had a major heart attack this morning, according to a Cooper Hospital administrator.
“He was taken to the hospital dead a long time ago,” a senior Cooper Hospital official told news organizations.
Shukla leaves behind a mother and two sisters.
Soon after his death was confirmed, a slew of celebrities took to Twitter to express their condolences.
Manoj Bajpayee, an actor, wrote, “OMGOSH!!! This is mind-boggling!!! Words can’t express the sorrow and grief he feels at the loss of his loved ones!!! I hope he rests in peace!!! Yaar yaar yaar yaar yaar ya”
Himanshi Khurana, a Bigg Boss co-contestant, tweeted, “Oh, my goodness. It’s difficult to believe. Sidharth Shukla, rest in peace.”
Sunil Grover, a comedian, and actor, tweeted, “Sidharth Shukla’s death has shocked and saddened me. He left us far too soon. Prayers. Rest in peace, my friend.” Nimrat Kaur, an actress, commented, “Heartfelt condolences to late Sidharth Shukla’s family. News that is both astonishing and distressing….”
Sidharth Shukla made his television debut in the show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, which aired in 2008. In 2014, he made his Bollywood debut in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, playing a supporting part.
He went on to win Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7, and gained a lot of recognition.
